The National Peanut Festival takes place in November each year at the Peanut Festival Fair Grounds off 231. This is a huge event that has rides, good carnival food vendors, and lots of fun for the whole family! It kicks off with the Annual Peanut Parade which is a huge parade of floats that go down main street, while the floats throw peanuts off the floats for all the crowd to gather and enjoy.
