The RTJ Golf Course sits on the site of the Dr. Whitaker farm and most of the land within the Big Cove area was cotton fields and hay fields. Things do change as things grow and this is one community that has seen a lot happen over the past years. Big Cove has quietly rested while Hampton Cove continues to grow.
