On April 30 Saint Mark's is holding its fifth annual Italian Festival. The event will be held at the Evangelist Catholic Church at 7340 Cahaba Valley Rd in Birmingham Times are 3:30 until 10:00 p.m. The festival will proceed rain or shine. The event offers Italian cuisine, music and live entertainment.

Brava Rotisserie Grill is a small eatery offering healthy and delicious food at an affordable price in the Indian Springs/Hoover area. Located in Valleydale Village on Caldwell Mill Road (there's also a location in downtown Birmingham), they have a great selection of sandwiches, platters and salads, a kids menu and they also serve wine and beer. There is an indoor and outdoor dining area, and if you call ahead - 205-995-0003 - you can pick up a dinner to go for those nights when you just don't want to cook. I tend to order one of their wraps or roll ups along with fries that are tossed with herbs and aged cheese and come with a dipping sauce that is divine. Highly recommended!

Looking for something fun for your kids to do this summer? A new summer camp is coming! Camp Indian Springs will have all kinds of activities for kids ages 5-13 at the Indian Springs School campus located on Highway 1919. Indian Springs Village is located along Hwy 119 with easy access to I-65. It has a small town feel while close enough to the greater Birmingham area to enjoy all the city has to offer.
