Each November the Parish hosts the St. Nicholas Russian/Slavic Food Festival where you enjoy wonderful dishes of stuffed holupki, boiled pirohy and pigachi.     Enjoy a lazy ride down the scenic Five Mile Creek through heavily wooded areas and the historic valleys of Brookside. The Five Mile Creek Canoe Company provides livery service and canoe rentals. Rides are various lengths and all end at the Park in Brookside. Campsites are available with full hookups. Walking trails along the Five Mile Creek Greenway Project lead those who prefer not to travel by water to enjoy all the Creek and surrounding areas have to offer.
