Ridgehaven is a peaceful and convenient neighborhood in the expanding South Tuscaloosa area and is perfect for young families. With Englewood Elementary School within walking distance and the middle school and high school (Hillcrest) just half a mile down Highway 69 South, the location is ideal for young professionals with small children. Each home in Ridgehaven is different and individual making it much more attractive than cookie cutter neighborhoods. The developers, Bill Lunsford and Mike Spivey, began selling lots in 2003 so many homes were built in or around that time. The streets in Ridgehaven, Brittany Lane, Collier's Way and Harrison Drive, are named after the grandchildren of the developer, Bill Lunsford.
