The Army Aviation Museum Is a Must See for All
The Army Aviation Museum, located at building 6000, Novosel Street, Fort Rucker is a must see for all this summer. The museum is the second top tourist attraction in the state of Alabama, and with good reason. The museum is open Monday - Friday from 9:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m., Saturday from 9:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m. and entrance is free!

Inside you will find many one of kind aircraft, wonderful dioramas and displays. Currently the XH-40 Huey (the first Huey prototype by Bell) and the RAH-66 Comanche are on display, but not for ever. The museum is where Army Aviation history comes alive. Be sure to put it on your to do list! If you do not have a military ID just go to the visitor center, at either the Ozark or Daleville gate, to obtain a pass.
