Like the words of a great song by the popular group "Alabama", "my home's in Alabama" and always has been. Decatur has been my home since the mid-60's. I have been a full-time real estate agent since the mid-70's and proud to still be working and helping buyers and sellers with their decisions about one of the largest investments they will ever make. I can work all of North Alabama but I primarily work in the Decatur/Hartselle/Madison area. Decatur is located on the Tennessee River and is the home of Wheeler Wildlife Refuge. Our area is lush and green and we are fortunate to enjoy a little of all four seasons of the year! My husband and I live just about as close to the Tennessee River as you can get without having water frontage--on the edge of Decatur city limits and very accessible to I-65/I-565. We have five grown children and nine grandchildren--and they either live in Decatur, Hartselle or Birmingham. We love to garden, eat, travel...and work!
