    We have owned more than 10 homes and have used realtors from Texas to New Jersey and all over the SouthEast. DeLisa is a true FULL SERVICE realtor. When you think why should I hire a realtor, DeLisa is the reason you hire a realtor. She knows the market, the area, the process. She handled all the little stuff that has to be done; termite inspection, appraisal, home inspection. All that little stuff is little- when YOU don’t have to make sure it is done. She will schedule all that, meet them at the property, wait on them when their late, etc. Great Realtor!

    DeLisa has been a Marvelous Work and A Wonder in my life. In the very short time that I have known her, she made a memorable impact.

    While still in Austin Texas, my realtor for the sale of my house, recommended a realtor here in the Athens/Madison Alabama area. I had began establishing a relationship of trust with this realtor while I still lived in Texas. It was made clear through several conversations with my Texas realtor and I, that I would be coming to the greater Huntsville area with funds ready to move very quickly towards the purchase of a home in this area.

    Upon arrival, this realtor only relied on her automated house search software to find me homes to look at. This method only found one at the time. I arrived in town on a Monday, and she expected me to sit and wait until Friday before she would take me out to look at houses.

    In the Interim, I met a nice couple from Alaska that had quite different and more positive experiences with their realtor. They recommended that I give their realtor a call - This was DeLisa Locke. I decided to contact DeLisa on the same morning that my realtor sent me an email (Wednesday of that week) asking me to consider canceling our Wednesday appointment and moving it to that Friday, since we only had one house to look at. To my surprise, my realtor had gave me no indication that she had planned to try to find other listings for me to consider.

    I called DeLisa and she had concerns about the way I was being treated by my realtor as well. While on the phone with DeLisa, she had secured an appointment for me to view a house within 15 minutes. While viewing this house, neither of us liked the house and we began looking for other listings immediately. Suddenly, through DeLisa’s search, we found a brand new home that had just hit the market! It just so happened to be around the corner and down the street from where we were. DeLisa happened to have a direct connection with the builder’s sales staff. She placed a call and we were able to go there and view the home. Within less than 4 hours of knowing DeLisa, I was suddenly placed in a situation where I had the perfect home being placed on reserve for me to apply for lending without having to worry about any competing offers.

    Now, consider this: I came in the middle of her already booked schedule. I had no prior contact with her. Yet, she opened up her schedule and her commitment to me as if we were well established acquaintances. I felt so special. All of my previous frustrations and feelings of disregard which lingered from my prior realtor’s treatment simply melted away. It’s truly magical the way DeLisa did this. I felt as if I was wrapped in a comforting cradle of customer care and respect.

    DeLisa made me feel so welcome, supported and comfortable. No matter what large or small issue that may have come up, DeLisa would reassure me every time by saying that she would advocate on my behalf and handle it. And, Handle-It, she did EVERY time. It was the most stress free home purchase that I have ever done; because of the hands-on, caring, kind, knowledgeable, intelligent, insight and efforts of DeLisa. DeLisa had a magical way of anticipating my needs as her client and she never failed my expectations; but rather, she always exceeded them.

    DeLisa has been an exceptionally bright example of the good in this community. I could easily discern that she also cared about how I assimilated into this community.

    I value, honor and appreciate all of DeLisa’s efforts so much; they have made me feel easy about fitting into my personal place here in my new lovely home. I cannot find words to fully express my gratitude for her and her fabulous team.

As an out of state seller, I feel I needed more representation than normal, and she truly went above and beyond in all aspects of our transaction.     This is the second home DeLisa Locke has sold for us! DeLisa provides superior service and goes above and beyond to take care of her clients! We had already moved out of state and were not able to take care of every little detail with the home. DeLisa and Morris made numerous trips across town to check on our home and ensure it was in perfect condition for showing! After it sold, we were in a time crunch to move our belongings that remained in the house. DeLisa and Morris even showed up to help us pack and load the moving truck! Above and beyond what most realtors will do! She truly cares about the people she represents. She deserves nothing less than 5 stars from everyone! Anyone giving less obviously just can’t be satisfied in life. No realtor has ever worked harder for me. I have bought and sold ten homes so I have eight other realtors to personally compare.

    Top Notch!
    We had land in Guntsville for sale for some time and it was listed with a different agent who did not even bother to really push sales or help get it sold. After a bad builder experience we wanted someone we felt like we could trust.
    We used the agent because they were local to that area. Sales in the area we’re going fast and it was crickets for any leads. We felt that the agent just did not feel as if it was enough money for her to even really invest time in.
    We decided to switch agents to Delisa who was able to bring us offers. She went above and beyond to answer questions and help assure that we sold our land with the right buyer. Delisa has an amazing reputation and always goes the extra mile for clients.
    I have reached out to Delisa for many real estate questions on home we were building - my parents need and Delisa always answered us even on vacation. She cares and has your best interest.. she is invested in helping you during the entire process. You could not ask for a better person to handle any real estate needs.

    Ultimately disappointed. We bought from out of state and purchased a new construction home. DeLisa was attentive and active in showing us homes during the four days we shopped but once we signed a contract on new construction home, her attentiveness faded fast. She seemed annoyed and bothered when we reached out to find out about progress or asked questions and I basically got the impression that her job with us was done. After closing, she dismissed my legitimate concerns about construction problems and dropped out of the picture completely. Not what I hoped for or expected from an agent who raked in almost $18k on our purchase. I wouldn’t recommend Delisa if you’re an out of state buyer.

    Shannon, & Stuart, I'm truly sorry if you are displeased with my services. It's always my goal to make sure my clients are completely satisfied at the end of their transaction. I did my absolute best in sending numerous photos as well as numerous videos, etc. of the progress being made on the home, along with numerous phone calls to discuss the progress between the time the contract was signed in March and the closing date in June. I never had any indication that you were displeased as you thanked me repeatedly for everything I was doing. In the final weeks, when it was still uncertain that your home would be ready, I spoke to the construction supervisor almost daily to push for completion. I worked through appraisal issues that would have caused additional stress and even with the last few days before closing being questionable, I tried to keep a positive and calming attitude in hopes of easing your fears/concerns while working behind the scenes with the builder and the lender to make it happen. The issues that remained after closing were primarily items that were identified and accepted during the final walk through and will be addressed by the builder. As I indicated last week when we spoke, I am happy to help facilitate any corrective action that the builder needs to take if you will relay the information to me that needs addressing. I have little control with a builder's timeline to complete punch list items but am certainly willing to advocate for you if needed. Again, I am sincerely sorry if I fell short of your expectations but truly wish you the best in your new home.
