I am so grateful to call Cahaba Heights home! My daughter just finished Kindergarten at Vestavia Hills Cahaba Heights Elementary (VHECH) and I couldn't have been more pleased with her first year! You can tell that the teachers and staff are passionate and dedicated to their work and the students. Every parent wants to have the peace of mind of knowing that their children are safe and well taken care of when they're away from us. Not only do I know that my daughter is getting the very best education but she is loved and supported, which sets the foundation for a lifelong love of learning.

A non-profit corporation created to provide ongoing and dependable funding for critical academic "extras" such as professional development, technology and classroom enhancements. To date the Foundation has provided to ALL eight schools and the Board of Education over $550,000. The goal is to grow the endowment principal to $5 million by 2016. The foundation "is an asset that is essential to providing everything we expect for our students". The funding gap that is lacking through State and Federal dollars is filled in by Foundation.
