Three elementary schools, one middle school and one high school offers diversity, tradition, community spirit and vision according to the Board of Education website. As with most of the top school systems in the State of Alabama, Homewood places great emphasis on technology in preparing their students for the next steps in life. Holding the largest classification, 6A, in the Alabama High School Association allows Homewood to compete both academically and athletically in all arenas.
