    Dreamland Bar-B-Que is moving close to home! They are opening a new location in the Inverness Corner shopping center on the corner of Hwy 280 and Valleydale Road, where Chill's used to be. Every day I drive by it looks like they are making more progress and I can't wait!

    Beaumont subdivision is west of U.S. Highway 280 at Valleydale Road and Inverness Center Drive. It's about location, location, location. Someone who works in the offices on Inverness Center and lives in the subdivision could walk to work. Also, great for shopping and dining. Homes have wraparound porches, columns and breezeways with all the extra amenities. Zoned for Hoover city schools.

    My wife and I have lived in Beaumont since the beginning. Our home was built during the first 20% of construction in 2008. We loved it so much that in December 2012, we moved from one street to another to a house that would better accommodate our growing family. Beaumont has great neighbors, several common areas (including a large field that overlooks Lake Heather), a nature trail around the edge of the lake, attractive architecture, street lights and sidewalks. The traffic can get bad on Hwy 280, but we've always loved the location of Beaumont because of its convenience to shopping, dining, and everything else, including the new hospital at Grandview that will be finished soon.

    Laurens Street features "cottages," which are more narrow lots with homes ranging from about 1,800 sq ft to 2,400 sq ft. The rest of the neighborhood are "manor homes," which range from around 2,300 sq ft to 3,500 sq ft. If you're one of the seven homes with a basement, you may have even more square footage.

    The neighborhood is zoned for Hoover Schools, but is also close to several beloved private schools, like Westminster Classical School and Briarwood Christian School. Come check out the neighborhood... we'd love to have you!
