The Beautiful Old Providence Chapel in Clayhatchee
I drive by this beautiful chapel every time I head to Dothan via Highway 12. It sits serenely on the right side of the road next to the quaint Rose Cottage. Completed in 1887, it now serves as a venue for weddings and other celebrations. It is managed by the Old Providence Foundation and all usage fees go to support, maintenance and improvement of the picturesque Chapel and Cottage. I only hope that one day I get lucky enough to be driving by to see a bride and groom having pictures done on the front steps!
