Ardmore is a small community that is so far north, you don't realize when you cross into Tennessee! Ardmore has a population of 1100+ and has everything you could want in a small town. You are about an hour and fifteen minutes from Nashville and about 25 minutes from the "big" city of Huntsville. It is the home to the Saturn 1B Rocket, at the Alabama Welcome Center, just south of the Tennessee border, on Interstate 65. Ardmore is home to both Alabama, Auburn and Tennessee fans, if you follow college football, you will understand this part. The world famous "Dog Days" flea market is held in Ardmore and if you were to visit on a holiday weekend, you may wait for hours to get to the entrance. It got it's name from the fact that each Monday was reserved exclusively for trading your dogs. Ardmore is a very peaceful farming/equine community that is still kept secret and is only for those that know.
