Pike County State Public Fishing LakePike County Lake is a 45-acre lake located near Troy. This lake is a great place to fish for bass year-round, though the best period is from late winter to early spring. Fishermen can also find bluegill, redear sunfish, catfish, and crappie. The Lake is open from sunrise to sunset and is wheelchair accessible. Lee County State Public Fishing LakeLocated six miles southeast of Opelika, Lee County Lake is a 130 acre lake perfect for anglers of all skill level. The lake is stocked with bass, bluegill, shellcracker, catfish and crappie. A launching ramp is available for boat fishing, and boats are also available for rental. A fishing pier makes deeper water fishing accessible to all. The park also features concessions, a bait and tackle shop and rental cabins. |
